Originally from England, MaryAnn has been a professional makeup and hair artist for the past three years. She has worked on numerous fashion editorials and commercial campaigns with the likes of renowned fashion photographer Odette Sugerman. Her work has graced magazines such as The Perfect Wedding, FHM,TLC, Sharp’s, Vancouver Ezine, Glossy Magazine (UK), String and Toro to name a few. MaryAnn regularly contributes makeup advice for ELLE Canada online and is the beauty editor for Cielo Magazine.
MaryAnn has also done hair and makeup for weddings, special effects for film and television and advertising.
MaryAnn graduated from the respected Jemma Kidd School of Makeup in London, UK and later with honors from the globally recognized Blanche MacDonald Centre in Canada. She is currently represented by the artist agency JUDY INC in Vancouver.
In her spare time, she volunteers for organizations such as Help-Portrait where artists (photographers, makeup artists and hair stylists) all come together to provide their services for less privileged people in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
